An ex-Dread Saint, Hodgeson is a man of dubious means and flexible morality. Even so, there are great benefits to having this firebrand at your side in battle. His skill with a rapier recommends him; few have walked away from a duel with Hodgeson, and fewer still have done so unscathed. At sea, Hodgeson swears by the cat-o-nine-tails to motivate his gunnery crews, "inspiring" them to feats of brutality rarely seen on the high seas.
