About this wiki

This is the player wiki for Pirates of the Burning Sea. It has two halves:

• The catalog — Ships, Cannons, Skills, Items, Recipes, Structures and Ports. These pages are produced straight from the current version of the game, so the numbers you see here are the numbers the game uses. When the game is patched, the catalog is refreshed to match.
• The guides — plain-English explanations of how the game works, written by people who play it.

What you will and will not find

The catalog only lists things a captain can actually get. Ships appear only if there is a deed you can build, buy, earn or find. Ships that have been retired from the player list are left out even though you may still meet them under computer control, and so are goods from retired parts of the economy and gear used solely by computer-controlled enemies.

Drop chances, mission steps and spawn locations are not listed. “How to get it” tells you the kind of place to look — a vendor, an exchange officer, a mission reward, plunder — not a guaranteed route.

If a number here disagrees with what you see in game, the game wins. Let the team know on the community Discord so the page can be corrected. Guide corrections and new guide ideas are welcome there too.
