A captain with the Dutch West India Company, Balthasar is considered a lout by some. Stand between him and his port-of-call, though, and you're in for a nasty surprise. Lagerstee carries more powder and shot on his person than is generally advisable and is eager to use it all in conjunction with his trusty rapier to settle disputes. At sea, Lagerstee takes a more cautious approach, preferring not to jostle his cargo. When pressed into heavier fighting, he uses the guns at his disposal to shatter the enemy's armor and send them to the bottom.
